Economic Forum 2024 with the theme, “Find New Opportunities in Cooperative Business and New Paths for Collaborative Networking! "

Over 51 visionary leaders, CEOs, and Board of Directors from different cooperative enterprises nationwide attended the event, which was held at the Quest Hotel and Conference Center, Cebu City, on January 10, 2024 (Wed.), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. With the fast-paced and rapidly evolving economy, the forum provided fresh insight and newfound perspectives on how cooperatives are able to promote social and economic development through the lens of esteemed resource speakers, Mr. Aleem Siddiqui Guiapal, Program Manager of the Halal Industry Development under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Mr. John Borga, a Relationship Officer of First Metro Securities Brokerage Corporation (FirstMetroSec). The forum aims to equip the participants with significant expertise in the context of building financial resilience and risk management, stir impactful discussions towards new directions in the economic landscape among cooperatives, and plan out strategies and market trends which will positively influence the Philippine economy in 2024.
