Rationale

The Batch of 2024 marks the third installment of the Post-Graduate Certification in Cooperative Management, a pioneering in-house program developed by CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative in collaboration with the Co-operative College of the Philippines (Co-op College PH), the National Federation of Cooperative Primaries in the Philippines (NaFeCOOP), and esteemed training partner, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). This program, distinguished by its innovative curriculum, caters to the specific needs of cooperative leaders. After the success of Cohort 1’s virtual sessions in 2021 and Cohort 2’s blended sessions in 2023, Cohort 3 continues the tradition of advancing cooperative leadership in the dynamic landscape of the New Normal.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Develop business acumen and leadership agility of cooperative leaders to pivot their cooperatives and create various options to expand revenue for the company.
  2. Deepen the leaders’ capabilities, competencies, and management thinking to remain relevant in challenging business situations.
  3. Reinvigorate the cooperatives with futures thinking and viable pivot plans for the cooperatives to explore going forward in its business model transformation journey.
  4. 4. Create a platform to prepare the cooperatives’ business strategy plans in the new normal.
  5. AIM Alumni Community Integration: Celebrate the graduates’ official induction into the AIM Alumni community, fostering a network of cooperative leaders dedicated to continuous learning.

The Post-Graduate Certification in Cooperative Management ensures that participants, comprising Co-op Leaders and key decision-makers, are equipped with the skills and insights needed to navigate the complexities of cooperative management in the New Normal.
